Today, I’m writing this blog post after a real long time. But, during this period I got an opportunity to read many books and work on new technologies. Also, during this period Microsoft released many products, which includes Windows Phone CTP (Yes, it is in CTP), Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4.0 (RTM), Office 2010 (RTM) and few patches. To understand CTP, RTM concepts visit: this link
I’ll talk about these technologies in coming posts. However, I’m very much interested in Windows Phone (or our old Windows Mobile) development, I’m reviewing a book and I would like to talk about it.
I’ve read couple of books on Windows Mobile development, but haven’t seen a single book which gives in-depth knowledge about building data-aware applications for these devices. This book: .NET Compact Framework 3.5 Data Driven Applications is simply amazing on this front. I have received a copy of this book to review from Packt Publishing, a UK based publishing company specializing in focused IT books.
Soon, I’ll share a detailed review on this book. Meanwhile, you can visit (https://www.packtpub.com/sites/default/files/0102-chapter-5-building-integrated-services.pdf) for sample chapter.
